Reborn: The Album Launch

Daryl Gervais at Reborn

"Reborn”. That was an apt name for Daryl D. L. Gervais’ CD Launch last night, as it showed a different experience for those patrons who attended the event at Oasis, in San Fernando.

With a slew of supporting artistes including Koen Duncan, Antus Keith, Elisha and Michael Dingwell, the night was unique among CD Album launch. Truly, the night underscored the name that it was given – “Worship Experience”.

In the midst of the experience, patrons were treated to a short modelling show displaying designer clothing from the “Not Of This World” and “J. Nissi” lines. The clothes are American and British in origin, and are all being sold by a christian clothing store named El Shaddai in Siparia.

The main focus of the night though, was the second half performance by Daryl d. l. Gervais. His unique style of rhythm and praise created a lovely feel for his music. His music definitely has a space in the local gospel scene.

The night’s finale with Koen Duncan, Antus Keith and Michael Dingwell may just have proven to unearth the most popular song on the album. Time will tell, and when you hear it... so will you.

Pick up a copy of his CD and experience it for yourself. In the meanwhile, experience his music video.

The Cast of the Pilgrimage Crosses Boundaries

The list of ministers slated to touch the stage at Pilgrimage 2009 is pretty much amazing! On Saturday 11th April you need to get your ride and get there – whether it be by car, bike, water taxi or blimp.
