Qanah - Celebrating The Exchange

S.O.S (Source of Strength) is on the move again with another project called ‘Qanah- Celebrating the Exchange’ on September 30th at 6:30pm in Faith Centre at 3-5 Prince Of Wales St., San Fernando. Having obtained local and international exposure in places like the Caribbean, Canada and Australia, the under two (2) year old group saw it fit that they celebrate with friends, family and supporters.

Qanah by definition means to get, acquire, create, buy, possess and as such, leaders Gary McSween and Dwayne Thomas described the time as ‘Celebrating the fact that God has given us the power to create a movement that exhibits true power and anointing through praise and worship. It will be a time for praise and worship unto God.’ The band not only seeks to conduct ministry in music, but seeks to impart to others and give back to the community charitably. As such they have partnered with I.T.N.A.C. (Is There Not A Cause) a foundation lead by Mrs Avonelle Hector Joseph for the rehabilitation of communities and lives devastated by injustices due to crime and havoc caused by natural disasters. Part proceeds of Qanah will go to all projects that the organization has.

For the  the evening patrons can look forward to a vibrant cast such as Nisa Nora, Gate’s Praise of First Church of The Open Bible,  and brothers Koen and Kerron ‘Elisha’ Duncan. Other  band members of SOS appearing at the occasion include Musical Director Charles Ryan, vocalists Talitha Mohammed, Aneesa Paul, Llttesha Sylvester, Akia McFarlane, Oneisha Dardaine, and Marc Isaacs, Pianists Rondell Joseph and Joshua Caines, Guitarist Kellon Archie and Drummer Kristian Dick. You would be graced with their hits ‘Hallelujah’ and ‘Be Transformed’and many other popular worship songs.

It promises to be unforgettable occasion with many other partnering companies on board. With SoundVision Ltd providing lights and sound, event goers will be wowed with a display of lighting technology and an impeccable mix of tones.
