GOD, YOU ALONE KNOW!

In a time filled with the reality that anything that could happen probably will, one cry that screams from the heart of mankind each and every second of everyday is, “God, you alone know!”

Whether you’re a very religious person or one that could care less, am sure you would agree that in this present age, you have found yourself seeing many things that are happening that one can’t logically explain. The talk shows are filled with the bizarre acts that humans, animals and nature alike are doing. Every story seems unbelievable to even imagine, with a Star Trek point of view.

In many cases the very persons that have done the acts can’t even explain how it was possible to do them. Scientist are constantly baffled by the continuously evolving trends in nature, weather patterns that once could have been tracked are now causing all books of learning to be thrown out the window.

From one woman having octuplets, to a giant sink hole as big as the grand canyon suddenly opening in the middle of the city, from a young educated talented young woman being admitted to rehab for sex addiction, to the mature man with wife and kids who spent all he had on child pornography.

For the ones that are going through these things as well as the ones standing looking in, whether with their mouth or with their hearts, they cry out for some higher more intelligent being to explain to them how and why these things are.

I am sure most of you at some point when you saw a person strung out on drugs at the side of the street, you wondered to yourself,

‘Why did he choose that road with all the warnings and prior examples of the effects of drugs on human beings? Why did he or she still make that decision?’Questions like those and many others can never truly be answered. Psychologists have tried to formulate theories and categorize human behavior yet there are still many cases that just can never be explained scientifically.

I read an account though of a man that in my view went through a very similar situation. With all that he had going for him, he was a great leader that won many victories yet he found himself almost throwing it away for something that wasn’t his. After the entire calamity that it caused him, he came to himself and exclaimed from his heart “God, you alone know”.

What he said to himself in my view is what we need to get. He understood that there were many things he couldn’t explain and so he came to a profound decision and said, “I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills from where comes my help……”

He understood that he could not look down to something smaller or horizontal to something or someone at the same height, he had to look at something bigger than he was. I admonish you when things come over you, as life sometimes throws,  look to the One that is way above you. Look to God for He alone knows!
