Lion of Judah Music Group has just published twelve new songs on the “Plead Riddim”, which was released to the public on May 1st on iTunes.
Featuring a slew of Caribbean artistes, the riddim has an upbeat tempo, mainly featuring a synthesised keyboard in a reggae-dancehall style. A medley video was published as a pre-release, with all of the artistes on the riddim.
Artistes on the Plead Riddim include MontyG, St. Matthew, KoK, Yankee, Kristine Alicia and Kary Diamond, each bring their unique style to the table.
Starting off the medley, Monty G seems to give a reason for the name of the riddim, as leads with his song “Plead My Cause” which starts with a quote from Psalm 35:1 – 3:
“Plead my cause, O LORD, with them that strive with me: fight against them that fight against me. Take hold of shield and buckler, and stand up for mine help. Draw out also the spear, and stop the way against them that persecute me”
