Lion of Judah Music Group releases “Plead Riddim”

lojmg

Lion of Judah Music Group has just published twelve new songs on the “Plead Riddim”, which was released to the public on May 1st on iTunes.

Featuring a slew of Caribbean artistes, the riddim has an upbeat tempo, mainly featuring a synthesised keyboard in a reggae-dancehall style. A medley video was published as a pre-release, with all of the artistes on the riddim.

Artistes on the Plead Riddim include MontyG, St. Matthew, KoK, Yankee, Kristine Alicia and Kary Diamond, each bring their unique style to the table.

Starting off the medley, Monty G seems to give a reason for the name of the riddim, as leads with his song “Plead My Cause” which starts with a quote from Psalm 35:1 – 3:

“Plead my cause, O LORD, with them that strive with me: fight against them that fight against me. Take hold of shield and buckler, and stand up for mine help. Draw out also the spear, and stop the way against them that persecute me”

A First Look At The First Baptist Chorale

first-baptist-choir

Barbados undenyably has exceptional talent and we were exposed to this at the 'Praise in Paradise' event with Dr Bobby Jones and friends. I must admit that I have not seen a choir or chorale perform in a long while, however when I gazed upon the First Baptist Chorale they made a statement from their very appearance alone. Dressed in dominant colors of black, red and white, they commanded your attention and certainly grasped mine.
