"Gangsta life is not the way to go. How many more people blood go flow..."
Dwayne Bedeau aka "Silent Sah" starts off his musical plea with these words, asking gangsters to turn away from gang violence.
The young artiste has taken to dealing with social issues in his debut album. Listening to this song one may notice this apparent goal of social commentary specifically targeted toward crime as this song follows another smooth track that says "we need more love innah the land", and is followed up by another which says "nuff ah youths dying", asking them to "give your life to Jah".
The song (gangsta life), featuring crooner Keron Ramsey has a cool reggae flow, which welcomes Ramsey's smooth voice which brings the message home.

Another recent release from Mention (featuring Positive) in his latest album "Life... The Journey" says "Stop de killing, stop the war stop the violence. Stop the killing stop the war stop the violence... Just show love..."
Mention in his verse asked "... are you not sorry for all this misery?"
Also on Mention's album is Mr. Bad Man, with a dance invoking song with an infectious reggae beat that has an unmistakeable message.
"Bad man from the Gaza, me want you done with the murder, see the Gully man, King me want you done with the shooting.
(Mention) Say Mr. Bad Man, could you put your guns down. Too much blood around town. Bodies on the ground, what's going on?"
What is the alternative? Silent Sah says "Clean up your heart and come (to Jesus)."
"Put down the gun and me say put down the dagger,
Youth man me say go seek the Almighty Father."
