It's All For The Cause

Haiti on the 12th of January endured one of the worst attacks by an earthquake which measured at a magnitude of 7.0, with a count of 33 aftershocks; 14 of which was between 5.0 and 5.9. Millions were affected, as some escaped with minor injuries, many more found with critical conditions, or in several unfortunate cases, dead.

Though the above event may be true, many have rallied together worldwide to assist in the best ways possible. The desires of people of many nations to cumulate efforts have caused a stampede, almost an earthquake of a different nature.

Being the good natured folk we are thought to be, we here in Trinidad have not turned a blind eye to the need of the Haitian population.

One such person engaged in the effort of bringing relief is Avonelle Hector Joseph with organisation ITNAC (Is There Not A Cause).

Partnering with ACTS25 TV Station , Citadel Limited I95.5 FM, RED 96.7 and HITZ 107, they have been quickly orchestrating the event, '4 Days for Haiti'; a Television Marathon for our Fellow Men in Haiti during their turmoil that will be conducted by ACTS25 Tv Station.

The event will be ongoing for a number of 4 days, at 8 hours each day live on ACTS TV Station and Live Streaming on their websitewww.acts25tt.com and will also be Airing Live on various Radio Stations such as I95.5 FM (Citadel Ltd).

The Telethon has in store a number of interviews, musical performances and presentations in the Arts to gain interest of viewers and listeners to educate, inform, rally and motivate them to the Cause of Haiti.

Over the 4 days, Gospel Artistes, Musicians, Pastors, Youth Groups, NGO's and Companies from across Trinidad and Tobago will come to the ACTS Station in San Fernando to pray for Haiti.

Their goal is not only to assist Haiti, but to also make an indelible impression and change in the minds of the Trinidad and Tobago citizens, that we are our Brother's Keepers!

Tune in Saturday 23rd through to Tuesday 26th January at 3:00PM to 10:00PM on ACTS25 & Cable Channel 9 to make an effectual change.

  • Esther James John 8:11 She said, No man, Lord. And Jesus said unto her, Neither do I condemn thee: go, and sin no more.

When Jesus was on earth, a woman caught in the act of adultery was brought before Him by the scribes and Pharisees, the religious mafia of His day. They tried to trap Him by posing a question that was difficult to answer: "Now Moses, in the law, commanded us that such should be stoned. But what do You say?" (John 8:5)

Jesus answered, "He who is without sin among you, let him throw a stone at her first." (John 8:7) The scribes and Pharisees began to leave one by one till none of them were left.

The people in the crowd who wanted to condemn the woman could not. But Jesus, the only one in the crowd who truly had the power to condemn her, would not. He then asked her, "Woman... Has no one condemned you?" (John 8:10)

He spoke such words of grace to her because He loved her. Also, by asking her the question, He was giving her a chance to speak words of no condemnation to herself - "No one [condemns me], Lord." (John 8:11)

Jesus not only spoke words of grace to her, He also gave her the gift of no condemnation - "Neither do I condemn you; go and sin no more". It was when she received the gift of no condemnation that she had the power to "go and sin no more".

Today, you have the gift of no condemnation because the Son of God was condemned for all your sins. (Romans 8:1) Today, God cannot condemn you when you sin because He is faithful and just to what His Son has done.

So if the devil tries to convince you that God is angry with you when you blow it, just say, "God does not condemn me today because He has already condemned Jesus at the cross 2,000 years ago!"

Unfortunately, we still hear people saying, "Go and sin no more first, then I won't condemn you." Maybe you have been saying this to yourself too. But God says, "I don't condemn you. Go and sin no more." He gives you the gift of no con-demnation, so that you have the strength to go and sin no more!

    Thought For The Day

You have the gift of no condemnation because the Son of God was condemned for all your sins.
