Larissa's Love Collection

I have always believed that whenever someone is doing better to improve themselves and assit others in making them feel good or look exquistite, they should be recognized for such. Rachelle-Ann Rawlins has fit the description. I like many other female Facebook users, was clicking aimlessly looking at various accessories when I stumbled upon Larissa's Love Connection.

My eyes were cast upon beaded jewellry of many colors that made them pop open. By now my heart thumped some more as i clicked next countlessly to be wowed by the beautiful handicraft.

How did it all begin?
It was founded in April 2010. On a regular Sunday afternoon she and her boyfriend began to play around with beads that she had at home. (Props to the boyfriend that plays with beads). Rachael Ann described the end result as a beautiful green and gold necklace that not even her family believed she made. From there she took it upon herself to develop her skill.

She soon found herself purchasing beads and experimenting with various designs and techniques. Over time she gave over her time to doing research on the Internet and quickly expanded her knowledge base. She soon began to gather her clientelle which consisted of close family and friends. She describes the support as overwhelming and quite encouraging

Many have asked her where she developed the talent from and her simple response is "It's a gift from God". This goes to show that the Father always knows what good gifts to give.

Rachelle-Ann sees it more than a hobby or wonderful way of income, but sees the venture as ministry in the Kingdom of God and seeks to advance it through such, as a percentage of the profits are donated to charity.

This young woman of God also would like to use it to empower other women by beginning a class of her own to teach others how they can pursue it as a business opportunity. Larissa's Love Connection's motto is 'Love yourself.....you're worth it', a gentle reminder to woemn of their worth and the importance of loving yourself.

Interestingly enough the business is not exclusive to making jewellery. Also included is the repair of damaged beaded jewelry.

She identifies greatly with many women who purchase beaded goods and its bursting nature, however assures that the repairs will result in a stronger product that will last longer!

Larissa’s Love Collection will display products in a Jewellery, Bridal and Fashion Exhibition, ‘Riviera Skii’ at Crowne Plaza on Sunday August 22nd 2010. The exhibition begins at 4.00pm and the fashion segment begins at 5.30pm. Tickets are $150.00. The theme of the exhibition is “Remember that Jesus is coming soon”.

Rachelle-Ann also extends thanks to family, friends and faithful customers for all the support. Her mother diligently carried jewellery to her school everyday soliciting sales, her best friend Celeste Ollivierre supportted and guided and boyfriend Shurland Louear, gave great assistance and encouragement. She says without him she could not of done it.

Mainly, she thanks Almighty God for the blessing of such a unique talent and giving her the perserverance and courage to reach this far.

  • Esther James John 8:11 She said, No man, Lord. And Jesus said unto her, Neither do I condemn thee: go, and sin no more.

When Jesus was on earth, a woman caught in the act of adultery was brought before Him by the scribes and Pharisees, the religious mafia of His day. They tried to trap Him by posing a question that was difficult to answer: "Now Moses, in the law, commanded us that such should be stoned. But what do You say?" (John 8:5)

Jesus answered, "He who is without sin among you, let him throw a stone at her first." (John 8:7) The scribes and Pharisees began to leave one by one till none of them were left.

The people in the crowd who wanted to condemn the woman could not. But Jesus, the only one in the crowd who truly had the power to condemn her, would not. He then asked her, "Woman... Has no one condemned you?" (John 8:10)

He spoke such words of grace to her because He loved her. Also, by asking her the question, He was giving her a chance to speak words of no condemnation to herself - "No one [condemns me], Lord." (John 8:11)

Jesus not only spoke words of grace to her, He also gave her the gift of no condemnation - "Neither do I condemn you; go and sin no more". It was when she received the gift of no condemnation that she had the power to "go and sin no more".

Today, you have the gift of no condemnation because the Son of God was condemned for all your sins. (Romans 8:1) Today, God cannot condemn you when you sin because He is faithful and just to what His Son has done.

So if the devil tries to convince you that God is angry with you when you blow it, just say, "God does not condemn me today because He has already condemned Jesus at the cross 2,000 years ago!"

Unfortunately, we still hear people saying, "Go and sin no more first, then I won't condemn you." Maybe you have been saying this to yourself too. But God says, "I don't condemn you. Go and sin no more." He gives you the gift of no con-demnation, so that you have the strength to go and sin no more!

    Thought For The Day
