Thousands are expected to join together to start off the new year with prayer, praise and worship at three locations around Trinidad come the first week of January 2012. This time of prayer, named D-Day is hosted by The National Network of Intercessors, the Trinidad and Tobago Council of Evangelical Churches and The Full Gospel Business Men's Fellowship International (T&T).

An annual event being hosted for the last sixteen years, it was recently renamed from the previous "D-Day" to "D-Day World Prayer Summit" three years ago.

Those who are interested in attending can attend for no attached cost at one of the three locations and times listed below.

If you're interested in finding out more about what Joel Generation is, here is a Fact Sheet created by its organisers for your information.

1. What is D-Day?
D-Day, which stands for "a day of decision and destiny," is a mandate given to us by God since September, 1996. The divine directive consists of a national day of intercessory prayer for Trinidad and Tobago, the Caribbean and the world at large, held annually on the first day of the year (New Year's Day) for the past sixteen (16) years in Trinidad and Tobago. Over the last four (4) years, D-Day has been renamed D-day World Prayer Summit and held during at least the first three (3) days of the year. The ultimate objective of D-day World Prayer Summit is to engender national healing, involving spiritual transformation, social and economic reformation. Within the last two (2) years, God bas directed us to network with other countries to establish a D-Day World Prayer Movement.

2. The Visionary Authority Behind D-Day?
The concept of D-Day stems from a prophetic word delivered by Apostles Vernon Duncan, Vivian Duncan and· Prophet Laymouth Sandy on Sunday morning, 2nd September, 1996 at Divine Encounter  Fellowship, Arima, Trinidad.

3. What is the Main Concept or Divine Strategy of Day World Prayer Summit?
To bring the Body of Christ together in each nation particularly on the first day of the year, for the purpose of repenting, interceding for and prophesying over that nation and other nations of the world, including Israel. The Church seeks to take advantage of the law of first mention. in that what is prayed, decreed and prophesied on the first day of the year is covenantal is like a kind of first fruits of the nation to God by the Church for that year. God honors it and brings it to pass. Our prayer on this first day of the year has very strong legal and spiritual implications for that nation. What is decreed is virtually law.

4. Who participates in D-Day?
At this forum, thousands of Apostles, Prophets, Bishops, Evangelists, Pastors, Intercessors and the general body of Christ, locally and internationally, are expected to participate, as we come together to apply the 1 Chronicles 7:] 4 principle: "If my people; which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, arid heal their land.

5. What were the major venues for D-Day over the years?
The very first D-Day (1997) was held at the Hasley Crawford Stadium, Port of Spain. There were about six thousand (6000) people in attendance. Over the years, D-Day has been held at various venues throughout Trinidad and Tobago.

In January, 2009, there was a paradigm shift to D-Day World Prayer Summit to which world renowned intercessory general, Dr. N. Cindy Trimm., was invited as the main intercessory facilitator.

In 2010, D-Day was held over a three-day (3) period, at three different venues and Dr. Fred Omoruyi of Nigeria. Africa another intercessory general. based in the Bahamas was the facilitator. In 2011, several churches in Grenada, St. Vincent and Dominica observed D-Day. The first country outside the Caribbean to observe D-Day World Prayer Summit was Kenya conducted by Pastor Kenneth Kimeu senior pastor of Divine Encounter Fellowship Kenya.
