Good News! Sherwin is alright!
I was shocked when I saw the article that was published in a daily newspaper about our esteemed Gospel artiste, friend, brother and so much more, Sherwin Gardner.
According to what is written the article, Sherwin is currently imprisoned upon suspicion of working illegally in the US, and he may possibly be deported back to Trinidad. The article continues that his life was also threatened by persons in Trinidad and Tobago, and so he is petitioning the deportation, and is in prison in the meanwhile.
Gospel Globe stands by nothing more than the fact that a Christian brother is in trouble.
I’ll say it in short. Sherwin needs our help.
I recall his song that says accurately:
In times of pain, who [are] you gonna run to?
When you feel strain? Who [are] you gonna turn to?
When man fails you, King Jesus gonna help you…
The most powerful thing we can do is turn to Christ and pray for his deliverance.
I remember some days sitting in a room off campus, with books, a bed, bare walls and no money – but a big class project to complete. I’d listen to gospel music to get me through. Sherwin Gardner’s album “Closer” was a significant support, among others.
If you know Sherwin or you don’t, if his music touched you or it didn’t, once you have God’s love in your heart, and you are a true blood washed and bible believing Christian, then there’s one move to make.
This ain’t no time to play, this is a time to pray!
Gospel Globe shares a prayer with Sherwin Gardner, his family friends and well wishers in solemn prayer for his release.

Just as the enemy doesn't ease up on us, so too we must be extremely diligent in doing what is right so that we stand blameless at all times before God and man.
Sherwin had been a blessing to me in Ministry as I have had the opportunity to sing and to minister as part of his band; his music has also blessed my heart and inspired me in a tremendous way and I really do pray that the matter is dealt with speedily and with dignity.
May God continue to give him and his family the strenghth they need now just as He gave to Daniel.
