Perspective brings purpose

Now who actually likes Mondays? Seriously?

First of all you wake up early, still tired from the weekend, then bombarded with the ridiculously insane and overbearing traffic in Trinidad, get to work, everyone still bummy from the weekend, boss on yuh case already……yea ok I think you get the point….

Can I just remind you that your tongue is one of your greatest weapons ever? It is! So why not speak life and joy and hope into your day, instead of complaining and crying?

Proverbs 18:21 “The tongue can bring death or life; those who love to talk will reap the consequences.”

It is estimated that approximately 250,000 to 300,000 people die each day, so be happy that you are not just another statistic or number, but that you are alive and you have freedom. There are people alive and freedom is a farfetched thought for them.

Freedom is a gift and responsibility, and how you operate in it tells how free you are in your mind. If you do not understand freedom and you have not gotten your revelation of what it means to be free, then you will continue to keep yourself captive and miss out on life.

God wants us to live in the freedom that was purchased for us by His son on the cross. Don’t you get it? We were condemned! Going to hell, with no hope of life, but GOD!!! I can’t know that my fate was death and someone gave me life and yet I continue to live like a captive.

Speak life not death, love not hate, hope and joy! We only have 24 hours in one day, and we are not even awake for the full 24 hours, so why would you want to live the day angry with someone or something?

Ok so your friend broke your favorite pencil and threw your eraser on the floor, at least you have a friend to do that, someone people have no one except an imaginary friend….ok so not the best example. But it makes no sense looking at the negatives of life, instead look at the positives of it and when you start speaking goodness into it, you will see, nothing that happens in your will day will ever get you down.

The joy of the Lord is our strength. Satan comes to steal kill and destroy, but Jesus came that we may have life and have it more abundantly, so no weapon formed against you will prosper and at His Name every knee will bow and every tongue confess that Jesus is Lord (Neh. 8:10. John 10:10, Isaiah 45:17, Philippians 2:9-10.)

Put some perspective into your Monday and your week. And if you are still feeling down, just know that God’s beauty and love chases after you every day of your life (Psalm 23:6 MSG)
